Naruto

I just started reading Naruto about a week ago, and it turned out to be a great manga after all. Thanks to Narutofan, I was able to download the manga series all they way to chapter 227. But my friends keep telling me that watching its anime is way better than just reading the manga. Too bad for me that bittorrent doesn't work here in the resource centre nor in uni. *fist tightens*

If only there's a FTP server out there that allows free downloading. :D Can't put up my hopes too much. NarutoChaos allows direct download, but it seems once I'm half way through, I get a 'download error' message. And the worst thing is I'll have to wait another 24 hours before downloading the next file (even though the first try wasn't successful! - damnit!)

Also, in showing my gratitude to Narutofan, I decided to give them a link thru my site here (rather than giving money thru paypal!).

The Majestic

I just watched the Majestic by Jim Carey. Usually, when we hear Jim Carey, the first thing that comes to our mind is a movie that is funny and hilarious. Well, it looks like that will have to change now. Earlier this year, I went to watch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and I was quite surprise myself. The movie was definitely not a Jim Carey movie, if you know what I mean. It was so serious, tangled with emotions and gives you a shock that reminds you of Six Sense.

Anyway, it was the same with the Majestic (except the shock). The story line was great, and the script was way even better. I even had to pause the DVD to copy it down. Check this one out.

" This TV thing, why stay home and watch a box? Because it’s convenient? Because you don’t have to dress up, you can sit there? How can you call that entertainment? Alone in your living room. Where’s the other people? Where’s the audience? Where’s the magic?

I’ll tell you. In a place like this, the magic is all around you. The trick is to see it.
"

Cool, huh? Definitely makes me can't wait to go to the movies. lol. There were a few more lines that I thought sounds catchy, but it might take up too much space, so, later. The Majestic gives the American people a clear reminder of what their true values are, especially if you relate the idea of apprehending communists (whom were not communists in the first place – in the movie) with how Muslims are treated after 9/11.

Special Edition Gen2

I just came to know about this from Fqrl's website. It is said that Proton is going to produce 100 units of Gen2 - Special Edition, as requested by MCOBA for the MCKK centennial celebration. The Gen2 will be in Red, Yellow, Black and Pearl White (based on MCKK's house colours), in addition to that, each car will cary a MCOBA special edition logo. Also, you get to make up your plate number with a MCOBA prefix in front of it (e.g MCOBA 9600).

Damn, if only I have my own cash now, I'll definitely get one of those. Well, a Gen2 specially tailored for MCOBA, that will be an opportunity which only occurs once every 100 years.

A new semester, a new language!

Lately I've been so lazy in terms of updating my site. What I usually do is that I go around the net reading other peoples blog. Most of them are really interesting. Anyway, it seems that this semester is going to be a tough one for me as I'm doing 3 computing subjects that are packed with assignments. *sigh*

Btw, I had just started learning a new language, Japanese! The class started around 2 weeks ago. It's called Fuji Japanese Cultural Club, located within the CBD. I hope to take the JLPT 4 exam by the end of next year. Well, first we'll have to see how I fare with Beginner 1. :)
