Finally, after much deliberation, I passed my CCNA exam. I took it this morning and managed to score 974/1000. I was extremely happy to the point of screaming in the exam lab.Now that I'm CCNA, I might consider doing CCNP , but maybe after a few years (and before my CCNA expires). I'm pleased to announce that by winning my last game before going to sleep yesterday, I was promoted to 8 kyu. My goal of obtaining 1 dan by the end of the year seems possible, at least at this point. I recall a person on KGS saying that improving your gameplay from 30 kyu to 10 kyu would be fast. I noticed that since I became a 10 kyu in December, my performance has fluctuated greatly, and I am actually seeing a downward sloping curve on my rank curve. How is this possible? I was very near in being promoted to 9 kyu, a single digit kyu, but now, my performance is so bad that the graph is moving downwards, towards the 10 kyu bar. Yes, after making an effort pulling my rank towards my goal, I'm finally there. Officially, I'm a 10 kyu. The feeling is good. To obtain such a strength after 10 months of playing is really worth it. My next target is now to become a shodan (1 Dan) by end of next year. By the way, here's an image of my progress so far.
